Quickfire Questions With... Megan Price of SWALK Creative
If you're looking for eco-friendly, cool and tongue-in-cheek greeting cards and gifts, there’s something about Manchester based SWALK Creative that will instantly catch your eye.
With seriously strong green credentials and ‘support local’ ethics, SWALK is a brand that resonates so heavily with Wǒ that we were delighted to speak with founder Megan Price recently about all things skincare, lockdown routines and getting back to art exhibitions as the new normal resumes...
Q: Megan when you first came across Wǒ, how did it wow you and why?
M: It seemed really different to other skincare brands, I found the Skin Diagnostic really interesting. It’s very specific and definitely addresses things I think other brands don’t, like parentage and ethnicity. It was super insightful!
Q: Your main skin concerns?
M: I had bad acne as a teenager so I have red scarring and large pores. I’m very pale so any blemishes are really obvious, including fine lines.
Q: What are the key benefits to you after trying Wǒ?
M: My skin is really plump, I feel like it’s reversed some of the early signs of ageing! I’ve had comments from friends about how nice my skin looks. My pores are also less visible too. I had fewer breakouts and my skin’s behaviour was just generally more consistent.
Q: Your favourite products in the Wǒ range that address your skin concerns and why?
M: The 3 in 1 Daily Base™ Aqua Gel was hands down my favourite. I feel like I have that to thank for the plumpness I’m feeling in my skin.
Q: What are the biggest changes you made to your daily routine over the past year? And as we come out of lockdown, will you be keeping any of those?
M: I definitely upped my SPF protection as part of my daily routine and will continue to do that. I feel like the 3 in 1 product I was using got me in a good routine that made my skin less erratic so I’d like to continue with that too!
Q: What are you most looking forward to as we all begin to get some normality back?
M: I’ve really missed galleries and art exhibitions, there’s some fab outdoor art trails I’ve seen recently but it will be great to get back to all my old favourites!
Q: Would you recommend Wǒ to your friends and family?
M: I already have done!
Q: What would you like to see Wǒ keep doing?
M: More of the same! I like how inclusive it is and I think finding ways to make skincare accessible and relevant to everyone is really important.
