Quick-fire Questions With... Moja Reader

Many of our regular readers will know that Karen, the founder of Wǒ, is a native Mandarin speaker who originates from Taiwan - so naturally when we had the opportunity to speak to Business woman and mother, Moja Reader (also from Taiwan but now local to us), we were delighted! 

Moja is a Brand Marketeer and works with many luxury brands across multiple sectors to provide all elements of marketing from design through to events management and has gained a loyal social media following through her work. She is also an experienced journalist, writing columns about all things British for newspapers and magazines in Taiwan!

Q: When you first came across Wǒ, how did it wow you and why?
M: I had a very good impression when I first went to Wǒ’s website, but only until I received the parcel, I was totally amazed by the products. The entire package was very light, trendy, eco-friendly, and without any unnecessary packaging, which reflected its philosophy of “to make a positive impact on the world” well.

Q: Your main skin concerns?
M: My skin is very sensitive, especially when the seasons change it gets worse. Therefore, I always choose skincare products very carefully, because my skin doesn’t agree with some chemical ingredients.

Q: What are the key benefits to you after trying Wǒ? Your favourite products in the range and why?
M: I love the fact that Wǒ’s products are so simple to use, as there aren’t any complicated procedures and the products work efficiently. Simplicity has been the key benefits to me, because I have a very busy lifestyle with work and looking after two young kids. My favourite product is (Daily Base) Comfort Balm, because I like the scent and non-greasy texture of it.

Q: Being a working mum with young children, do you notice how your lifestyle impacts your skin? Do you have any tips to share with other working mothers?
M: If I have a bad night without much sleep, I can notice straight away in the morning that my skin looks tired and terrible. When that happens, I use Comfort Balm to give my skin immediate rescue, as the product can moisturise my skin nicely in a very short time. I would recommend it to all the working mums!

Q: Would you recommend Wǒ to your friends and family?
M: Definitely! And I’ve been doing so to people I know who are looking for recommendations for skincare products.

Q: What would you like to see us / Wǒ keep doing?
I would love to see Wǒ keep spreading its philosophy of celebrating diversity and making a positive impact on the world.
